Alexandra Park is alive with activity. From high-octane zipwires and fitness classes to more sedate pedalos and pitch & putt – there’s something for everyone. Why not make a day of it?

Go Ape

Ready for a big adventure? This custom built, triple-tiered hub is the ultimate test of balance and nerve. Featuring challenging obstacles at increasing heights, a free-fall Tarzan Swing and a 46ft sheer drop called The Plummet.

Alexandra Palace Garden Centre

The Garden Centre at Alexandra Palace is conveniently perched on the south side of the park. Regarded as one of the capital’s best garden centres it is also one of the largest in London.

Children's Play Area

Located near the Boating Lake, the Children’s Play Area is the perfect place for little ones to let off steam. The East Court and Lakeside Café are located nearby for refreshments.

Skatepark

A great place to sharpen your skills or just watch others perfect their grinds and ollies. We have enough to keep you busy including ramps, 2 fun boxes and 2 grinds.

Little Dinosaurs

All year round adventure soft play centre with café serving refreshments for its patrons. A great escape for kids and their parents all in a beautiful partly wooded setting. Open every day and perfect for parties.

Boating Lake

Swan Lake on your doorstep! Lakeside Boats offers a fantastic range of boats to choose from including pedalos and classic rowing boats. Come and have a sensational experience, a great day out for all.

The Boating Lake Cafe will be closing from 1 October for refurbishment and reopening in the Spring. During this time there’ll be food and drink on offer from pop-up vendors, as well as the cafe in the East Court. 

Farmer's Market

North London’s famous farmer’s market at Ally Pally takes place most Sundays near the Crouch End entrance to the park with fantastic local produce from over 30 stalls.

Pitch & Putt

Have a game while enjoying one of the best panoramic views of London’s skyline, the 10 hole Pitch & Putt course in the park is open daily throughout the spring and summer.

FirstSteps Dance

Learning ballet and other dance styles gives young people and adults the ability to move with poise and confidence. All students will develop ballet technique; discover a means of self-expression and foster their social skills

Pétanque Courts

You gotta roll with it! Come play the French ball game at Alexandra Park. With thanks to C Field, Capital Gardens and Hornsey Petanque Club whose donations helped make the Pétanque Courts possible.

If you are an independent activity provider wanting to run sessions at the Park and Palace you require a licence. For more information, please contact our team at visitor.services@alexandrapalace.com

If you are participating in an activity onsite, operators should be licenced by Alexandra Palace. We recommend that prior to enrolment that you check whether operators are licenced, and if they hold appropriate qualifications, based on industry best practice. They must be fully insured with appropriate checks in place and hold liability for the safety and welfare of everyone participating.
