A night with the Royal College of Music Philharmonic at Alexandra Palace
From 19:30 come and hear musicians from the Royal College of Music as they perform one of the best loved works in the classical repertoire – Holst’s The Planets.
This captivating concert also gives audiences the rare chance to hear the Palace’s legendary organ in action with a performance of Bach’s Toccata and Fugue in D minor and a special arrangement of Walton’s triumphant Crown Imperial. All proceeds from the event will go towards restoring the organ back to its 1929 state when it was heralded as ‘The Finest Concert Organ in Europe’.
