Aged 16 – 28 and interested in a career in events?

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to build on your portfolio, we have a new and free events management course available to members of the Alexandra Palace Young Creatives Network.

What will I get from taking part?
Over eight sessions you will:

• Learn how to produce a variety of live events
• Develop your marketing and social media skills
• Learn the basics of graphic design
• Delve into event financing and risk assessments
• The opportunity to put on three public events at Ally Pally including one of Ally Pally’s outdoor festival stages
• The chance to support our teams to plan and deliver a range of events commemorating the Palace’s 150^th birthday

Do I need any experience to take part?
This course is aimed at beginners interested in working in the events industry but is suitable for people that already have some experience and are looking to build their portfolio

When is it taking place?
Every second Wednesday from February to May 2023, 6pm – 8pm
Dates: 8 Feb, 22 Feb, 8 Mar, 22 Mar, 5 Apr, 19 Apr, 3 May, 17 May, plus Saturday 27 May (outdoor festival)

In our Creativity Pavilion, located in the East Court (8 Feb, 22 Feb, 22 Mar, 5 Apr, 19 Apr, 17 May)
In the Palm Court Suite 2/3 (8 Mar, 3 May)
On the South Terrace for the outdoor festival (27 May)

In order to take part in the free course you need to be a member of the Alexandra Palace Young Creatives Network. If you are already a member you can book your free place online by clicking the “buy tickets” button.
