During June, alongside Haringey Council we took part in the London Festival of Architecture 2024, hosting a series of events, exhibitions and workshops during the annual celebration of architecture and city-making across London

As we explored the festival’s theme of Re-imagine, we joined forces with brilliant sound and transmission artist Jessica Sammut, who recorded and broadcast a series of fascinating conversations with members of the community.

This included broadcasting live from Platform 1 of Alexandra Palace Station, inviting people to have their say on transforming spaces in their local area. She also hosted a series of guests, including the Friends of Ally Pally Station, entrepreneurs, designers, artists and policy makers.

Jessica journeys into the Palace to explore our Transmitter Hall and the array of community activities that take places here every week. From Ally Pally’s resident Boxing Club EFG Boxing and North London Skate Club, through to Haringey Music Service, our volunteers and a quick game of Drag Bingo at Cafe Palais.
