One of the most iconic London department stores known for it’s Tudor-revival building filled with high-end fashion and luxury homeware, launched it’s highly anticipated advent calendar on our Ice Rink in September.

Liberty, with the help of creative Event Agency AnotherDay Events, transformed our Ice Rink into a Liberty Christmas wonderland. Guests were welcomed with drinks and tasty canapés provided by catering partner Bubble and invited to skate around a large advent calendar in the middle of the ice rink. And for anyone that needed them, our cute snowman wrapped in Liberty’s scarfs were provided.
Christmas trees and advent calendars were dotted around the reception area adding to the Christmas magic while a DJ was spinning tunes on the edge of the rink. Everything was perfectly in theme and Liberty branded from the bauble balls on the trees to the cloakroom draping and welcome desk.
The design of the space was both seamless and efficient, the purple accent colour was beautifully enhanced with uplighters set up around the rink. Bubble served delectable canapés from Boxing Day Burgers with cranberry relish to brussels sprouts, pigs and blankets and mince pies, creating the perfect Christmas spread. All in all, the Ice Rink provided a wonderful backdrop for this event, welcoming guests for an early taste of Christmas at Ally Pally.
