On Thursday 18 July, two of the UKs most iconic bands, Suede and Manic Street Preachers performed a stunning double-header show live in the Park of Ally Pally as part of our summer season.
With sets spanning their combined 23 studio albums, both acts brought an energy and showmanship that provided fans with a once in a lifetime experience.
Scroll down to relive this incredible evening through our photos, the setlist, reviews and audience reactions below:
★★★★★ “One legendary indie behemoth alone is not enough? Then luckily alt-rock’s hottest double-header ticket of the year landed in the Alexandra Palace grounds last night like a précis of all the dream Glastonburys you missed in the Nineties.” – Evening Standard
★★★★ “Far from a cosy night of packaged nostalgia, this joint London gig brought the best from both bands.” – The Independent
★★★★★ “TWO big doses of Nineties indie nostalgia on the same night is a winner on every front. Suede and the Manic Street Preachers put on dazzling performances on their co-headline tour – as if they were performing their songs for the first time.” – The Sun

Well, last night was something special. Our biggest ever London show, a backdrop of the city lights and a full moon, and a wonderful crowd, so loud in the loud bits and quiet in the quiet bits. Thank you London

Watching @suedeHQ doing Trash as the moon rises above the stage at @Yourallypally & hearing the crowd howl. This is what studying crowds is all about! pic.twitter.com/JbTyjVB1iU
