One of Britain’s most exciting contemporary artists, Bakar is bringing his melting pot of indie, rap, rock & punk to Alexandra Palace this December.

Bakar, born Abubakar Baker Shariff-Farr, is known for defying genre boundaries. With roots in Tanzania and Yemen, he grew up down the road from us, in Camden. Resisting categorisation during his steady growth into the spotlight, he offers all the lyrical power of a rapper, the virtuosic poise of a producer and the pop craft of a singer-songwriter. Following his chart-topping single Hell N Back and debut album Nobody’s Home, he shook the music world with 2023’s Halo, his sophomore effort.
