BP Big Screens 2017 is bringing a live screening of The Royal Opera House’s staging of Puccini’s final masterpiece, ‘Turandot’. For the first time here at the Palace, the summer screening will be broadcast live on the big screen set against our spectacular view of London’s skyline. Go beyond the famous aria ‘Nessun dorma’and be transported to legendary China in all its pageantry and savagery, with disguised identities, puzzles and ritual executions. Princess Turandot subjects her suitors to cryptic riddles only to execute them when they fail to answer correctly. Will our hero Calaf solve the riddles and win the Princess? Please note pre-screening begins at 7pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm. All live screenings are classified 12A by the BBFC. Any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21

We will be selling Picnics which can be pre-booked with your ticket so you can enjoy some delicious food with the screening. You can choose from the Palace Picnic alone or with Prosecco. Please bring your order confirmation and collect your picnic from the Pimms bar on site.

The Palace Picnic contains:
• Crisps
• Hummus, Marinated Olives and Italian Breadsticks
• Chargrilled Chicken Breast with Rocket and Shaved Parmesan
• Orzo with Persian Feta, Mint, Pickled Lemon, Fresh Peas & Broad Beans Salad
• Picnic Frittata with Basil and Roasted Peppers
• Rich Double Chocolate Brownie served with Mixed Berry Compote
• Mineral Water

This picnic is delivered in a disposable gable box.
We reserve the right to substitute products if necessary and some products may contain traces of nuts or sesame seeds.

We have some delicious food stalls serving food before the screening from 18:00. These include Bodeans, High Steaks, Croquetas Vigar and the famous Ice cream cab.

Please note, You are welcome to bring your own food and alcohol with you to the show, however there are maximum quantities of alcohol permitted in the screening area:

1 bottle of wine/prosecco/champagne
4x cans of beer/cider
No bottles of spirits onsite
