Our Festive Film season opens with the Christmas classic (and much disputed) Die Hard!

John McClane (Bruce Willis), officer of the NYPD, tries to save his wife Holly Gennaro taken hostage by charismatic German terrorist Hans Gruber (Alan Rickman) during a Christmas party at the Nakatomi Plaza in Los Angeles. Outmanned and outgunned, McClane calls in the help of a local beat cop in his crusade against the evil villain Gruber.
