Participants will learn and apply New Media skills to produce a music video using the park as their backdrop. The group will use smartphones and materials that are easy to source with the goal of giving participants the space and freedom to be playful and find their voice. Using a can-do-attitude, anyone – regardless of age and/or skills – can be creative, and video making will be approached through experimentation and playful amateurism. Activities will include writing and recording poems about future aspirations which will be responded to in visual forms such paper-mache and card to build props to think about “What do I want the world to be like in future?”
